singing and dancing puppets - cellulaire automata

My drawing machine - the puppets draw patterns by following paper cutouts that lie underneath the top paper.
The puppets can do a couple of things: they turn right when they can't get grip on the ground- therefore they never fall off the table. They react to sound- if you clap into your
hands or make any other sound they start dancing and singing. And yes they do sing and dance- one song - a Chinese opera song ? and they do a kind of belly dancing. They also react on one another - if the one starts singing and moving they all do. The drawing pencils are connected to different body parts of the puppets ? connection to the moving hip gives a dotted line- this way I can influence the drawings - changing the cardboard cut-outs under the top paper also changes the outcome.
