- everyday five different artists where sitting in the artcom office ready to advise and to answer questions from fellow artists - a nice thing was that we had fantastic discussions while sitting and waiting for calls.

at that time the word com still sounded suspicious, especially in combination with art- and as far as I know in 2000 there was no 'official'
organisation in the Netherlands to assist visual artists with daily problems. I think by now there is.
